Since joining Grieves Solicitors in 2007, I have been involved solely with claiming compensation for the victims of accidents as Grieves Solicitors specialises solely in personal injury claims.
At Grieves Solicitors, I have experience of all types of personal injury claims, including road traffic accidents, hair compensation claims, fatal accident claims, workplace accidents, gas poisoning claims, brain injury claims.
What inspired you to get into law?
Initially, I was involved in legal administration but the more I became involved in the legal process and personal injury claims, I decided that I wanted to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive.
Grieves Solicitors supported me in that decision and together with Damar Training, Grieves Solicitors gave me the opportunity to become an Apprentice and I am now an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX).
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I like meeting new people and putting them at their ease and I find it extremely rewarding when I secure compensation for a client who has been injured in an accident which wasn’t their fault.
Why do you like working at Grieves Solicitors?
As one of the leading specialist personal injury firm in West Yorkshir, this gives me the opportunity to work on high profile and complex cases as well as having personal contact with local people.
What do you do away from the office?
I have recently become a Mum, so between working and studying I enjoy spending lots of time playing with my little boy, Reggie and my partner.
