" I would like to thank you for being a brilliant Solicitor for all your help and patience as I’m sure most Solicitors would have waved my case goodbye!"
" Thank you for your professional and helpful manner in reaching a settlement for my claim."
" Thank you for your hard work and persistence in sorting this compensation award out for me. Apart from the fact that I feel it was justified, the money came when my life including finances was at a very low ebb and so the money will help greatly."
Grieves Solicitors Featured in Huddersfield Daily Examiner
Helen Grieves, of Grieves Solicitors, Huddersfield has recently spoken to The Huddersfield Daily Examiner to comment on the case of Rastrick girl Sky Leigh Barker.
Sky was left with scars on her cheek and needed 175 stitches after a Japanese Akita ripped a chunk out of her face. The eight-year-old’s family had been told they could not claim compensation because the dog’s owners had no insurance.
Speaking to the Examiner, Helen said "“These sorts of cases always seem to make the headlines and it’s unfortunate that it may be that innocent people who have been injured in this way do not realise that they can make a claim for compensation through the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) for their injuries or even against the owner of the dog which caused the injuries.”
