Loss of one eye:
approximately £40,000

Loss of both eyes:
approximately £175,000

Injuries to one eye:
anything from approximately £500 to approximately £40,000 depending on the severity, recovery time, age of victim and residual vision.

Injuries to both eyes:
anything from approximately £500 to approximately £175,000 depending on the severity, recovery time, age of victim and residual vision.

Injuries affecting hearing - Ears

Total deafness:
approximately £50,000 to £100,000 depending on the age of victim at the time of injury and the ability to communicate

Loss of hearing in one ear:
approximately £20,000

Permanent partial hearing loss:
approximately £10,000 to £30,000 depending on the severity and age of the victim

Temporary and/or mild hearing loss:
approximately £1,000 to £10,000

Loss of smell

approximately £10,000 to £20,000 depending on severity and age of victim

Loss of taste

approximately £5,000 to £15,000 depending on severity and age of victim
