Severe brain injury requiring round the clock care dependency:

Less severe brain damage with some degree of remaining independence

Significant brain damage where the ability to lead an independent life is permanently and adversely affected:
approximately £50,000 to £75,000
Brain damage permanently and adversely affecting everyday tasks but not e.g. the ability to work:

Temporary loss of partial brain function lasting up to about 5 years:
approximately £10,000 to £20,000
Lesser head injuries:
approximately £1,000 to £10,000 depending on recovery time and the severity of initial symptoms
